HOUSTON, TX - Kids will take part in the Big3 tournament weekend with the pros in Hoops 101: Skills Mini Camp at the legendary Fonde Center. The annual camp will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Fonde Recreation Center, 110 Sabine St. | Houston, TX 77007 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.Nearly 75 kids will receive hands on training from participating Big3 players, former NBA and WNBA pros - including former Houston Rocket Jermaine Taylor, former Seattle Storm Janell Burse, former New Orleans Hornet Carldell "Squeaky" Johnson and many more!
Parents, kids and Big3 tournament fans will also be greeted by the Relief Gang (DJ Mr. Rogers and Trae tha Truth). The two have teamed up with Ice-Cube to help send 1000 kids to the big game on Friday. The duo formed the Relief Gang to assist Hurricane Harvey victims' with toiletries, food, clothes and temporary housing.
The Big3 Tournament is kicking off its' second season for the first time playing in Houston on Friday at the Toyota Center. Fans will be able to engage in a FREE concert by Ice Cube before the start of the game.
Hoops 101: Skills Mini Camp is being hosted by Top Shelf Life Marketing Group and SNR Sports Management in conjunction with The National Retired Basketball Players Association.
